Green Schools plays an important role in promoting environmental awareness and sustainability within Castlepollard Community College. Through a range of activities and initiatives, students are encouraged to take an active role in protecting the environment and creating positive change within the school and wider community.
The Green Schools committee works closely with students and staff to promote recycling, reduce waste, encourage biodiversity and raise awareness around important environmental issues. Students regularly take part in campaigns, clean-up initiatives and projects that help develop leadership, teamwork and responsibility while making a meaningful impact on the school environment.
Green Schools provides students with the opportunity to become active and informed citizens while helping to create a cleaner, greener and more sustainable school community. The enthusiasm and dedication shown by students continues to strengthen the programme each year and reflects the school’s commitment to care, community and wellbeing.
