Hurling is nurtured through the Hurling School of Excellence which was launched in 2014 laying the foundations for multiple North Leinster titles at Senior and Junior level.
Since its inception, the new initiative has proved to be a flourishing success with the input of top coaches such as Paudie Butler, Anthony Cunningham, Adrian Moran and Alfie Devine along with invaluable support from Tommy Gallagher, Westmeath Coaching & Games officer.
We are delighted to have Westmeath hurlers Tommy Gallagher, Tommy Doyle and Derek McNicholas as hurling ambassadors and Kelly Dobson, camogie (Maynooth University) as a successful past student.
Allied to this, the annual C’mon Caman Hurling & Camogie blitz day has proven to be hugely successful when the local primary schools contest the Aileen Lawlor & David Kilcoyne Perpetual Cups respectively. We are indebted to the voluntary contribution of our teaching staff towards coaching our students.
Honours: North Leinster Champions 2014/15 (Senior), North Leinster Champions 2015/16 (U16), North Leinster Champions 2025/25 (U16)
We would also like to thank the local businesses and community for their continued support and generosity in the sponsorship of these teams.
