Soccer continues to be a hugely popular sport in our school, with students regularly taking part in games and training during break times, lunch times and after school. Castlepollard Community College has excellent facilities to host home fixtures and provide students with opportunities to develop their skills in a competitive and enjoyable environment.
The school competes at a high level in a variety of FAI competitions across both Boys and Girls categories, including U17 and U19 competitions. Students proudly represent the school throughout the year, showing great commitment, teamwork and sportsmanship in every match.
Our Girls Soccer team enjoyed fantastic success in their debut season by reaching the Leinster Regional Semi Final, a remarkable achievement and a reflection of the talent and dedication within the squad. The continued growth of soccer within the school highlights the strong sporting culture and enthusiasm of our students, with the sport continuing to go from strength to strength each year.
